I have practiced law since 1965 after graduating from Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C. During my early career years, I worked in Washington, D.C. where I appeared in cases before federal courts and administrative agencies. I served in the Army as an artillery officer during the Vietnam War. In 1969, I transferred in the Judge Advocate General’s Corps, the Army’s legal branch, serving until 1994 when I retired as a Colonel. I spent many years assisting military personnel with their legal problems. I spent eight years as a prosecutor, three years as the chief defense counsel for the Army in Europe, and nine years as an appellate judge on the Army’s Court of Criminal Appeals. I have been in private practice in Colorado since 1994. I specialize in military law, family law, criminal law and employment law. I litigate cases at the trial and appellate levels.
